Our Approach to Reporting
FanTribe News delivers Premier League stories by combining structured football data—such as fixtures, official results, league standings, and betting odds—with our unique, proprietary, and aggregated, anonymised fan data drawn directly from the FanTribe app community (including prediction splits, fan counts, leaderboards, and banter-zone activity). We believe the best journalism is grounded in verifiable facts and authentic community sentiment.
AI Assistance and Human Oversight
To rapidly process large volumes of match data and structure our reporting, many FanTribe News articles are produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Match previews, match reports, gameweek roundups, standings/title-race and relegation analysis, odds analysis, club roundups, and fan-data stories are generated and published automatically under fixed editorial rules, because they are derived directly from data FanTribe holds.
However, anything touching transfers, rumours, injuries, manager changes, or an individual's personal conduct is held as a draft and cleared by a human editor before publication. Approvals are attributed internally to the editor who made them. AI is utilized for formatting, data processing, and drafting frameworks—it never replaces our journalistic judgment or accountability in these sensitive areas.
Every AI-assisted story carries a "FanTribe Data Desk" byline and an on-page note disclosing its provenance.
Our Ironclad Commitments
In our pursuit of covering the beautiful game, we pledge that we will never:
- Fabricate quotes: All quotes are transcribed from press conferences, official club communications, or verified social media accounts, and are presented in context.
- Present unverified rumors as fact: If a story is developing or unconfirmed, we will explicitly state what is known and what remains speculation. Wire reports from other outlets are used only as leads and are attributed when referenced.
Sourcing and Attribution
FanTribe News relies on original reporting, verified club announcements, and established news agencies. When we report on information originally broken by another publication or journalist, we provide clear attribution and, where applicable, hyperlinks to the original source. Our proprietary data (fan predictions, sentiment analysis) is strictly drawn from anonymized aggregates within our platform.
Corrections Policy
Mistakes happen. When they do, we are committed to fixing them quickly and transparently.
If an error of fact is identified in a published story, we will update the article with the correct information. In addition, we will append a clear, dated Correction Note to the bottom of the article explaining what was changed and when. We do not stealth-edit factual errors.
