The latest round of Premier League fixtures delivered drama at both ends of the table: Hull City defeated Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa were beaten heavily, four clubs made it two wins from two, and Newcastle United and Liverpool shared four goals.

Four perfect starts

Ipswich made it third time lucky with a 2-1 win over Sunderland, their first of the campaign, while Leeds United's 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest was one of only two away wins this round — Chelsea's at Fulham was the other. Leeds climb to ninth, still unbeaten; Forest drop to 14th, still winless. Sunderland, who opened with a win, are 12th.
